About Bridging the Gap to Leadership

The Bridging the Gap to Leadership (BGL) project is a collaborative project between University of Brighton and Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU). Funded by Health Education England, the project has enabled us to gain a deeper insight into the experiences of racially minoritised students undertaking practice placements in Health and Social Care settings. The purpose of the BGL project is to provide placement educators with resources that will help educate and inform, to create a supportive environment for the student during the placement.
