Changes to the free uni bus in Brighton

The Big Lemon Bus company runs a free service between Brighton campuses, which is the 44 bus route between Grand Parade and Falmer Travel is free for for those carrying a Unicard (student ID card). If you don’t have your id with you, you may be charged the standard fare for that route.

 Service changes

Following on from comments made by Brighton Students’ Union about needing more space on buses, changes have been made to the service by the university. Larger buses, with more seating will be provided for you and these will continue to operate along the same routes, but the service will stop at Falmer campus.

Please note: If you are catching this bus at Moulsecoomb campus, you should use the Natal Road and Brighton University bus stops (both westbound and eastbound). The bus will not stop at the Watts car park.
