Trainee teachers as a resource
Boosting progress and catch up in your classroom
With so much interruption to learning during the Covid restrictions, we recognise that many schools and teams will be focussed on helping pupils and students to catch up now that the new academic year has commenced.
Learning is at the centre of our partnership with you. We realise that over the past year learning has taken place at varying rates dependent on so many factors and we are also aware of the socio-emotional effects of the pandemic for some young people.
One of the many benefits of having trainee teachers in your school is an increase in the ratio of adults in the classroom, enabling additional support for individuals and groups from the teacher or trainee.
Our trainees are committed to teaching and bring the latest in pedagogy to practice. Whilst those in the final stages of their training require experience working with whole classes, they can also work with individuals, small groups and half classes to whilst honing their skills. Our trainees can complement the bespoke plans you are implementing to boost progress, scaffold learning and strengthen well-being.
Our secondary PGCE trainee teachers are of course graduates, and therefore bring a depth of subject knowledge with them, irrespective of their stage of training.
Our trainees are an excellent resource to boost progress, scaffold learning and strengthen well-being
