Primary SBTs – Restructured Year

You can host trainees all year round!

Changes to the structure of the year – Primary

Many schools like to have trainees all year round but without too many overlaps, so our school -based training dates make sure you can do just that.

Our first year undergraduates have a newly allocated contact with their allocated school based training school in the autumn term INSERT DATES which will help them to understand how to translate their university based learning into school-based practice. This will help them to ‘hit the ground running’ when they commence their substantive SBTs later in the year.

So, now you can host trainees in your class from September 28th  through to June 30th 2021.

For example, you can now choose to host both a PGCE and a BA final year trainee in Y1 class; this will offer remuneration of £1600.

For those schools who offer places for more than 8 trainees across the school within a year, bespoke remuneration packages will apply.

Please talk to Sarah Fitzjohn-Scott if you would like assistance in planning to host multiple students in your school.
