Mentor training and support

When we are able to, we will continue to offer the opportunity for face to face engagement with our partner schools and mentors, particularly those who are hosting large numbers of trainees at the simultaneously. Until that time, we will continue to build our online mentor development provision and resources and will offer you support remotely at convenient times for you.

We currently host school-based training materials on our SBT mentor blog. We will be updating these regularly as we move through the summer ready for September.

We are also working hard to reduce the workload on our mentors. For example, reducing paperwork further, introducing well-being checks rather than mentor meetings for the first few weeks of school-based training, greater levels of support from the University based team.
