Eileen Sharpe

Eileen has been a University Tutor for four years.

Before that, she was a Headteacher in various primary schools in West Sussex, having been a class teacher in Sussex and London for the first half of her teaching career.

She has a particular interest in promoting active learning in and out of the classroom throughout the whole early years and primary age range.  Eileen has been involved in training primary and secondary school mentors, and delivering workshops for the PGCE and SDS primary courses.

She especially enjoys working with teacher colleagues in schools to ‘grow’ the next generation of teachers.
