It was a delight to hear from so many people all thinking about food and nutrition. In 2020, the experience of COVID 19 has focussed attention on some of the difficulties for people to have a healthier diet. During the evening we heard about NNEdPro and their COVID 19 task force, concerns raised about discharge from hospital and adequacy of vit D for people in care homes. Our medical students shared with us the latest developments in the An Apple A Day volunteering project as it expands to include students from Nursing and Nutrition courses.
