Being and Time – CAPPE Intensive Reading Group
Martin Heidegger Being And Time (translated by John Macquarrie & Edward Robinson)
Venue: TBC (somewhere on City Campus)
7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 November 10:00-12:00
Many working in CAPPE are currently working on the theme of time, including the forthcoming conference organized by Lorena Ramirez Hincapie entitled ‘Unlivable Time’ to be held in early 2023. The CAPPE Reading Group in addition has a focus on the theme of time during the latter weeks of this calendar year. Others are also interested in conducting a collective reading a celebrated, influential and controversial book of philosophy. To this end, we are planning to read Being And Time together intensively, dividing the book up into five parts, each of which we will cover daily during week commencing 7th November.
