Session 1:  Explores the “what” and “why” of policy. With CAPONEU’s work in mind, we will work through the intimacies and tensions between academic work and policy work as modes of knowledge production.

Session 2:  Focuses on the “how” of report writing: using real examples (provided in the session) we will cover the form, structure and voice of ‘the policy report’.

Suggested reading: “The Future is Now: Utopian Demands and the Temporalities of Hope”, chapter five of Kathi Weeks’ The Problem with Work (2011).
