Are you worried about paying your rent, travelling home for Easter or paying for day to day living costs until your next instalment of student finance comes in?

Did you know that the Student Advice Service can advise and support students who are experiencing difficulties with their funding?
There are hardship funds to help students in most need and short term loans to help students with a small amount if they need money to travel or an unexpected essential cost.

You may be eligible for the Student Support Fund:
http://www.brighton.ac.uk/current-students/my-finances/hardship-funding/index.aspx which is awarded to students in most financial need eg students with childcare costs, students with high travel costs or personal/health problems and final year students. However, every application is considered on it’s own merits. If you are in receipt of full funding and/or a university bursary it is unlikely that you would qualify unless you have unusual circumstances.

If you think you might be eligible you should contact the Student Advice Service at your campus as soon as possible. You can find the dates, times and locations of all our services here: http://bit.ly/ContactSAS

PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL CONTINUE TO BE OPEN OVER THE EASTER PERIOD, BUT OFFERING A REDUCED SERVICE BETWEEN 30TH MARCH – 17TH APRIL
