Apply to the Student Support Fund now to guarantee payment before Christmas

SSF application

The Student Support Fund is one of the university hardship funds. Applications are open all year round, from September – June, and the fund is open to all Home undergrad and postgrad students. EU undergrad students receiving the standard student finance package (eg migrant workers) can also apply. There is a separate fund for NHS funded students.

If you are having financial problems and you want to apply, please read the guidance beforehand.

If you have any questions about eligibility or the application process, please contact the Funds Assessors or Student Advice Service on 01273 642888.

If you submit a complete application before Friday 4th December and you are subsequently made an award, we will guarantee payment on or before 24th December. Payments are made direct into your nominated bank account and the award is non-repayable.

      Hi Danny

If you return to the blog post and click on the term ‘hardship funds’ in the first line, the link will take you to the relevant pages of the university website where you can find out everything there is to know about the different university hardship funds.

Do make sure you read the guidance before you submit an application

If you need any help with completing the form or providing evidence, just give us a ring on 01273 642888

      Best wishes
