Student Advice Service – Money Matters

News from the Student Advice Service at the University of Brighton

Struggling to pay for prescriptions and dental costs?

You may not be aware that you can apply for help to pay for a range of NHS treatments.

The NHS runs a scheme to assist people with low incomes to pay for health care called the Low Income Scheme and many students qualify for full or partial help, depending on their personal and financial circumstances.

Once you have checked the eligibility criteria, you need to complete a simple application form called an HC1 form, which looks like this:

hc1-form1[1]
