Abstract:
This talk will draw upon joint work with Stuart Hall and Michael Rustin, in the Kilburn Manifesto, whose aim is to understand neoliberalism in its long historical and broad geographical setting, and to analyse the current moment in conjunctural terms. The Kilburn Manifesto can be found in numbers 53 and 54 of Soundings: a journal of politics and culture, and is available online
