Top Volunteering Opportunities: November

Here are some of the great volunteering opportunities currently available in the Brighton/Sussex area! Don’t underestimate the value of extra curricular activities on your CV – as a student you will never have more free time than you do now so take advantage of it!

Police and Probation Volunteer

Amnesty Book Shop Assistant

Commitment:
A few hours a week 

Court Volunteer
Location: Sussex
Commitment: Once a week/fortnightly on agreed days

Community Rehabilitation Mentor

Location: Worthing
Commitment: 2-3 Hours per week

Witness Service Volunteer
Location: Brighton, Hove, Worthing, Lewes, Horsham, Hastings
Commitment: Minimum 1 day per month for 18 months 

Brighton Housing Trust Mental Health Peer Volunteer

A minimum commitment of six months

St Johns Admin Support

Regular support for a minimum of 12 months

Young People with Learning Disabilities Support Role

    thanks for this Carmen, I know students can get frustrated at how difficult it can be to get legal work experience but these roles often cross over into the legal sector and will help to develop and demonstrate key skills.
