Student Support Fund June deadline for continuing undergraduate and all postgraduate students

The Student Support Funds are open throughout the whole academic year to all Home fee paying students, both undergraduate and postgraduate. The closing date for final year applications has already gone, but we are still accepting applications from continuing undergraduate and postgraduate students until early June.

Undergraduates apply online via the Student View area of My Brighton and upload supporting documents to the application portal.

Postgraduates need to download an application pack and send the the completed form and evidence by email to funds@brighton.ac.uk

The closing date to submit your application is Friday 9th June 2023 (or earlier for some postgraduates)

If you have already made an application this academic year, we can only consider a supplementary application if you have not already received a maximum award and your circumstances have significantly changed since you last applied. Please contact the Funds team if this situation applies to you: funds@brighton.ac.uk

If you have applied in a previous academic year, you can apply again each and every year of the course, even if you are repeating or intermitting.

As long as we receive your completed form and all documents on or before 9th June, we guarantee that your application will be considered.

The application process can take up to 28 days once we have received your complete application, but we do process applications in date order as quickly as we can. We may require further information from you, so please keep a close eye on your uni email account as this is how we will communicate with you.

If you are not able to apply by the deadline, don’t worry – we will have a Summer Fund for students in most need and unable to work over the long vacation and the Student Support Fund 23/24 will open again in September 2023 for the next academic year.
