Money Week is coming 6th – 12th March
After a couple of years of delivering Money Week remotely through the power of MS Teams and social media, the Student Advice team are back on the road in early March with our event of the year, Money Week. This year’s national theme is ‘Navigating the Numbers’ which ties in well with the current cost of living crisis.
Come and meet the team in person and get some great advice – we’ve got so much more to offer than student loans and hardship funds (no that this isn’t important) and no question is too small. Our money tree will be primed and ready for action, so for every money saving tip you give us at the stall, you get a free go on the tombola – prize every time. You can also vote for your favourite tip on the Money Week padlet and the winner will receive a £30 uni card credit to spend on campus.
We’ll be posting some pretty hard hitting blogs covering those topics we don’t like talking about such as ‘buy now, pay later’ schemes; payday loans; money mules and gambling so stay alert for these, especially if any of these are issues which are troubling you at the moment.
We will also share some of our handy money saving tips and suggest easy healthy recipes and sustainable changes for a positive lifestyle.
This is where you can find us throughout the week:

Falmer: Checkland Building foyer 12pm – 2pm
Wednesday 8th March
