If you’re planning a journey home in the next few weeks or at Easter, now is the time to start looking for a ticket!

Megabus are currently running a winter sale http://uk.megabus.com/free-seat-sale.aspx
with free seats on offer on travel up to 12th February. It may not be the most luxurious of travel, but worth a try if it’s free. And if you’re planning something at Easter, Virgin trains are currently offering advance seat sales up to the end of March (other rail providers also apply!). If you’ve got a smart phone you can download their app to get the best deals. Generally speaking the cheapest seats go on sale 12 weeks in advance, so jump on board
