Student Support Fund deadline
The Student Support Funds are open throughout the whole academic year to all Home fee paying students. The closing date for final year applications has already gone, but we are still accepting applications from continuing undergraduate and postgraduate students until early June.
Undergraduates apply online via the Student View area of My Brighton and upload supporting documents to the application portal.
Postgraduates need to download an application pack and send the the completed form and evidence by email to funds@brighton.ac.uk
The closing date to submit your application is Friday 7th June 2024 (or earlier for some postgraduates)
If you have applied in a previous academic year, you can apply again each and every year of the course, even if you are repeating on a part time basis.
As long as we receive your completed form and all documents on or before 7th June, we guarantee that your application will be considered.
The application process can take up to 28 days once we have received your complete application, but we do process applications in date order as quickly as we can. We may require further information from you, so please keep a close eye on your uni email account as this is how we will communicate with you. Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered.
If you are not able to apply by the deadline, don’t worry – we will have a Summer Fund for students in most need and unable to work over the long vacation and the Student Support Fund 24/25 will open again in October 2024 for the next academic year.
If you have any questions before you make an application or you want to talk to an Adviser, please contact us by phone 01273 642888 or email us studntadvice@brighton.ac.uk. We are available Monday to Friday 9.30am – 4.30pm. We can chat over the phone, use MS Teams for calls or video meetings or you can make an appointment to meet with us on any campus.
Best wishes
