Tip 9 of the 12 (money saving) Tips of Christmas
Christmas is the season of good will and giving, so instead of buying a thing for a loved one, you pledge to make a charity donation of your choosing on their behalf. You then tell them about this in a Christmas card.
Everybody gets to feel better and nobody gets pointless stuff they don’t need – which is a win, win.
If you can’t afford to make a financial donation to charity, you could volunteer at your local foodbank instead – it is still a donation to charity – a much needed donation of your time and effort. Fareshare is just one example, but there are many charities who would welcome any support you are able to offer.
Happy giving!
