Missing some household essentials? Thursday is bargain day at Falmer
Are you missing any household items, small appliances (all PAT tested), crockery bedding items or you’re after a change of seasonal wardrobe? Look no further as we have a pop up shop on campus later this week in the form of NOW! Charity.
Students moving out of halls have donated good quality, reusable items such as clothes, shoes, bedding, household and kitchen items and stationery rather than throwing them away. These are then stored by the charity who then give new students the opportunity to buy pre-loved items instead of new ones and donate to a fabulous local charity at the same time.
Come along to Asa Briggs Foyer, Checkland building on the Falmer campus this Thursday 04 October 11.00-16.00 to pick up a bargain.
All proceeds will go to ‘Now!’ supporting local people in need. If you wish to donate items to Now, they will also be collecting donations on the day.
