TAKE 5 with Santander

As part of national Take Five fraud awareness day last week our local Santander branch hosted an awareness raising session for students and university staff.

 

Students took part in ‘spot the phish’, learning how to identify phishing emails and what to do if they had been phished and staff and students alike were interested to find out how to be more safe online.

Students, if you’re worried about any unusual emails from a ‘bank’, ‘Student Loans Company’ or anyone asking you to update your bank details online, please check the authenticity of the url it is being sent from, or better still come and ask Student Advice.
