There have been a large number of phishing emails and text messages going to students from fake Student Finance Services and some look very authentic. Phishing scams are very common around this time of year, and unfortunately students are often targeted, so you need to be extra cautious and monitor your online activity carefully. Take a few minutes to see how you can protect your online information by clicking on the ‘online safety‘ tab here: http://www.slc.co.uk/students.aspx

If you are worried about phishing, scams or fraudulaent activity, please come and see a Student Adviser as soon as possible
