As the winter bugs set in, get ready for prescription charges!

Students on a low income may be eligible for free or cheap(er) prescriptions, as well as other NHS services eg going to the Dentist. You need to apply on a HC1 application form to see if you qualify. If you live with a partner, their income is included in the assessment. The scheme isn’t just for students, it is for people with low incomes generally.
