Humanities student praised by Obama has London show

Final-year History, Literature and Culture BA(Hons) student Layla Andrews showcases her newest work at the Oxo Tower from 26 February.

The exhibition is called Feast And Famine and aims to highlight “elitism and opportunity” within the art world.

In 2017, Layla painted a picture of Obama for which he sent her a letter of thanks.

Igniting Innovative Collaborations through Creative Methods

18 researchers from across the university gathered together for a stimulating day of activities, discussing, applying and developing a range of creative research methods. The event, which took place just before Christmas, was supported by Creative Futures, with a view to facilitating collaborations between the many researchers at Brighton who have expertise in this field.
