Commercial Litigation Placement: Deadline 23rd May

Commercial Litigation & Investigations (Cognitive Law)
In this placement students will work directly with the solicitor acting for claimants in High Court and County Court claims concerning disputed introduction fees on behalf of our recruitment agency clients.

Location: Brighton, with the possibility of some travel to clients in the UK

Closing date: 23rd May 2017
Interviews: 7th & 9th June 2017 (with case research & presentation at second stage)

Start date: 3rd July 2017 (12 month placement)

What they are looking for:
Candidates ideally should be studying a Law or Business degree, and 
have an interest or experience in commercial litigation. Candidates should also be capable of working both as part of a small team and alone, but always willing to ask questions or ask for help.

Other ideal requirements:

* Be highly organised and able to work to strict deadlines
* Be an excellent verbal and written communicator
* Enjoy a good argument
* Be experienced using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* A task finisher that can be relied upon to get things done
* Have the utmost discretion about client information

Salary: £18,500 pa with 10% placement completion bonus (subject to performance)

Contract and working hours: Full-time, 08:30 to 17:30 (hour for lunch)
