Ms Woods, who was awarded a BA(Hons) in International Business in 2009 and an MSc in Marketing from the University in 2011, joined Drooms in 2015 and prior to her new position, she was Country Head in the UK with responsibility for driving new business opportunities.

Of her time in Brighton, Ms Wood said: “I had a great experience. The lecturers, some of whom I remain in contact with to this day, were both supportive and encouraging which is particularly important during those formative years as an undergraduate.

“The University’s welcoming culture and progressive attitude towards diversity, drove me to continue my studies at the University where I finally completed a masters in Marketing (with special focus in branding and communication).

“I am proud to say that my studies provided me with a solid basis for my future career path. I had a truly wonderful time and would encourage any aspiring student to explore the various courses available at the university.”

Before joining Drooms, Ms Woods, who speaks four languages, held positions in real estate and project management at the global airport operator, Fraport AG in Frankfurt.

Ms Woods is now in charge of Drooms’ entire UK operation, with responsibility for the team, including training and development, distribution of Drooms’ software solutions, strategic business development and customer retention.

Drooms facilitates highly secure access to confidential documents and the ability to exchange them with third parties around the globe.

Jan Hoffmeister, Co-Founder and Chairman of Drooms, said: “Our virtual data room technology realises time efficiencies, lowers costs and increases security in due-diligence processes and the lifecycle management of assets and, thanks to growing recognition of these benefits, we are growing fast. To match this increasing demand, we need exceptional people such as Rosanna, who have the right talent and experience.”
