You said you wanted more opportunities to provide us with feedback. We are exploring ways that we can use whiteboards for you to share your views, ask questions and raise issues more readily. We are also creating a School of Education ‘Student Forum’ so we can gather feedback on what it’s like to study on the Falmer campus, and cultivate more of a community.

You asked us to ensure there is enough space between assignments throughout the year. As a result, we now provide you with assignment schedules, to help you plan ahead and manage your workload.

You told us that you felt School Based Training needed to be earlier in the year for some courses. We have now arranged placements to ensure that trainees can experience the whole of the academic year throughout the duration of their course.

You told us how much you appreciated the support offered by the Pi Shop team for students due to take numeracy skills tests. We have fed this feedback back to the team, and are now exploring new ways of offering similar support for the literacy skills test.

You told us you wanted more information to help you prepare for assignments. In addition to allocating time in your module sessions, we are offering a range of opportunities including our student-led Assignment Support Team, online materials and bespoke sessions. We are also developing further guidance for students on key assignment support areas, such as how to get the most out of tutorials.
