We have been working over the summer to invest in our facilities to help support and enhance the student experiences, based on feedback you have given us.
These include:
- The upgrading of a number of teaching spaces in Watts building, and we will be creating a student study and social space in the Huxley Building.
- Student computers in Watts, Huxley and the Aldrich library have been upgraded.
- Several floors of the Aldrich Library have been refurbished, including the ground floor toilets. New water dispensers are now available on all floors.
- The lift in Mithras House has been refurbished.
- Refurbishment of learning spaces on the 6th floor of Watts Building. New radio and camera booths have been installed, as well as a computer lab.
Over the next three years we are investing a further £60m in the ‘Big Build’ to transform the campus and provide new student accommodation, Students’ Union and fitness facilities.
