Clearer feedback on your assignments

You told us that assessment feedback has not always provided you with the information needed to improve.

We have revisited the process of feedback to ensure we provide clear ways for you to develop. To support this, we have created a BBS Development Example Module on studentcentral and provided guidance for staff on the Quality Learning & Teaching Blog.

Placement and careers support

You said you wanted more support with placements and careers. The new BBS Employability Hub offers you a wider range of support including new placements software, which enables you to create a profile, search for placement opportunities and arrange appointments. We have also introduced a number of final year students as Placement Mentors.

We are now encouraging you to use the Skills on Tap website to build a range of evidence to help towards future employability, working towards a bronze, silver or gold Brighton Business School Advantage award. Fun support sessions are also provided, with the opportunity to win prizes for your progress.

You will also find notes and a training video from previous Placement Supervisors training sessions available on the Quality Learning and Teaching blog.
