We have revisited the process of feedback to ensure we provide clear ways for you to develop. To support this, we have created a BBS Development Example Module on studentcentral and provided guidance for staff on the Quality Learning & Teaching Blog.
You asked for more detailed guidance from staff when handing out assignments. We have created a detailed check list for module leaders when putting together assignment briefs, to ensure that you are receiving more consistent guidance across all of your modules, and improve your overall learning experience.
You said you wanted more support with placements and careers. The new BBS Employability Hub offers you a wider range of support including new placements software, which enables you to create a profile, search for placement opportunities and arrange appointments. We have also introduced a number of final year students as Placement Mentors.
We are now encouraging you to use the Skills on Tap website to build a range of evidence to help towards future employability, working towards a bronze, silver or gold Brighton Business School Advantage award. Fun support sessions are also provided, with the opportunity to win prizes for your progress.
