Latest commit – 14/12/2024

The latest commit to master adds a few changes:

  • AuVi can now visualise Speech Transmission Index (STI)1 and total sound level (TSL) 2 on mesh geometry
  • LiVi can now calculate EN17037 lighting metrics (experimental), and the results visualised with LiVi display and processed with the VI-Metrics node. This has necessitated changes to the LiVi Context node, which now has a new Metric option to set LEED or EN17037 compliance analyses, and the context should be reexported in existing projects.
  • LiVi no longer rewrites Radiance normal map textures on every LiVi Geometry export if the file already exists. This can be overriden with the ‘Overwrite textures’ option in the LiVi Geometry node (off by default).
  • EnVi should now clear any references to obsolete Bender materials on EnVi Context export.

The previous master branch has now become beta6 and is available on the Downloads page. This is the last version known to work on Blender 4.2 LTS, as development now moves to 4.3.

The user manual has been updated to reflect these changes and can be found on the Documentation page.

Cheers
