These are structures that rely on woven and interlocking paper strips to bind pages together. They can be quite complex and demand accuracy in measuring and cutting.
They were developed by Claire Van Vliet and Elizabeth Steiner who published them in a book. This is now out of print but has been made freely available online for anyone to refer to.
