I came across the work of Evelyn Bencicova who is a photographer, and felt that her style of imagery has an essence of Wes Anderson to it. Although it does not have some of Anderson’s key attributes such as symmetry, I feel the style of it is similar. The way the model displays emotion bears resemblance to the work of Yasijuru Ozu and Wes Anderson also, and this is something I will look into within my own work.

There are aspects of this shoot that are similar to scenes in Wes Anderson’s film ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ in which we se the lead character in an old fashion tiled bathroom. I feel this could be an interesting concept to consider within my own shoots or when considering location ideas for my film.
