My work focuses on the dawn of the Anthropocene era and a planet in crisis due to human mismanagement.
In my digital printmaking practice I seek to merge drawings of natural objects with photographs of items which are difficult to recycle and inevitably end up in landfill or strewn around the countryside or in the sea.
Examining the confusing complexities of recycling different types of plastic, the global impact of plastic production and looking at ways of repurposing single use plastics to produce artwork are all factors in my artistic process.
