The inspiration for my prints ultimately comes from my fascination with the medium of lino itself. Working with a material that can be manipulated only so much allows a degree of conversation between the piece and the artist. In my compositions I explore the balance of black and white spaces, using marks to create further illusions of tone and texture.

‘Migrations’ was made during lockdown and has become symbolic of the times we’re experiencing. A public space once full of life now emptied. The scale and execution, an observation on how our own perception of our practices have changed
