I do not know about any of you but I find it absolutely astonishing that in this day and age murder only gets you a five year sentence. I am of course talking about Mr Oscar Pistorius. I know it was a case from a country where the rules are different from ours but surely murder is still murder. The judge stated that ‘justice had been served’ when delivering her verdict, well excuse me Judge Masipa, but only serving 10 months for a murder does not sound like justice to me but it sounds more like injustice. I know there are number of variables to every case including the case I am talking about but in my humble opinion Judge Masipa just showed us yet again how fame and fortune can take precedent over the rule of law.
