Undergraduates can still apply for funding for 24/25

For the 2024/25 academic year, new students were encouraged to apply by 17 May, whilst continuing students had until 21 June. Although these dates have now passed, there’s no need to panic, you can still apply and avoid stressful delays at the start of term.

The Student Finance application process is now open for students starting a Master’s or Doctoral course in 24/25 academic year. You can find out more about what may be available to you here

The deadline to register to vote is rapidly approaching – you have until 11.59pm this evening, Tuesday 18th June.

Summer Fund for students facing financial hardship over the summer vacation

The university offers financial support to students over the long summer holiday. Applications are assessed on a case by case basis and if you you are made an award, it is paid to you direct from the university and you do not have to pay it back.

Student Support Fund deadline

The Student Support Funds are open throughout the whole academic year to all Home fee paying students, both undergraduate and postgraduate. The closing date for final year applications has already gone, but we are still accepting applications from continuing undergraduate and postgraduate students until early June.

The Student Support Fund will be closing to final year and PGCE students on Friday 3rd May 2024. Late applications cannot be accepted so please make sure you have attached all the supporting evidence requested in the form and submit it by the deadline in order to be considered.

Applications for funding for 24/25 are now OPEN. The quickest and easiest way to apply is online via the Student Finance portal, although you can also download an application form using the Student Finance form finder.
