Vibrant Lights

I wanted to challenge myself to capture more abstract images using intense lighting and more difficult photographic techniques. In this shoot, I wanted to use shutter speed to create more individual looking images that not necessarily stresses realism but conveys more abstract conventions of translating meaning. While my images are sufficiently chaotic and different, expressing more individualistic representations of dysphoria as well as more perspective based meanings. This does mean that my images are apt for my brief they are probably the least visually pleasing of my photographs. The out of focus shots are quite turbulent and despite the fact that this was pre-designed they are somewhat offputting to the eye. It is clear that more work is needed to convey this kind of unprecise image while still retaining conventional ideals of beauty as well as visual dysphoria or confusion.
