New Year positivity
I woke up feeling good, so I felt the need to share a selfie (sorry, not sorry). Yesterday evening I got an invite to interview for the careers advisor role I previously mentioned. I had been waiting four weeks to hear back and I had started to lose my optimism. My job interview is next Friday and I’m super-excited. I’ve booked in a mock interview with the National Careers Service and I’ve asked a couple of Careers colleagues for feedback.
I’m also giving a presentation on ways to support students into employment. Which feels very relevant as a student, and as someone who cares about wellbeing.
I hurt my back this week and, although it aches, I’m feeling too posi to think too much about it. The smell of autumn is nearing and I can’t wait to be immersed in it.
Also, hooray it’s September! I love the start of the academic year and I inadvertently dressed in an outfit that makes me feel a bit preppy. I love my Poof top but I haven’t worn it for ages because I put on weight and it looks like a crop top. But I matched it with a vest and I like it. OK I won’t be a fatshion blogger any time soon, I know…
