My practice is an extension of my interest in objects and the presence they have in connection to the natural world. Pots are the transition between nature and man-made. They exist in our homes as a vessel for raw earth where plants can grow; a temporary inside-outside.
When I am painting, I am arranging shapes on the surface to build a composition. It feels exactly the same as arranging objects on a coffee table.
