wrapping all of my work together

Currently, I have finished everything except for my digital archive which I will be doing today. I am very happy with my portfolio and feel that it showcases my photography and styling skills. I will be having my final tutorials on Wednesdays where I will be able to fix any last minute flaws. For my digital archive, I will be creating it on Canva (taking inspiration from an old example portfolio provided in my studies).

Website

I will be using WIX to create my website. it will include all of my best work over the past three years, an about me page along with a contact form for potential employers. I will also be including PDF’s of my current FMP, my zine from first year, along with my Shatter Magazine project from second year. I am thinking of possibly including pdf’s of my business module work.

Interactive portfolio?

For my FMP, it is going to be interactive with ARTIVIVE. However, I feel this won’t be a good idea for my portfolio, since the employer would need to physically download the app in order to view my images. Instead, I am thinking of inserting QR codes into my portfolio which will link to my instagram reels and videos which showcase my work.

Final portfolio

At the moment, I have finished creating my portfolio document which includes all of my best work over the past three years. I feel I have included enough at the moment, and will be receiving input from my tutors shortly regarding what needs to be changed. I have also started creating the website on WIX, but am having a little bit of trouble. I may switch to a different software, I will also be discussing this with Chris.

I am currently in the process of uploading contents to my instagram daily for my portfolio, I am trying to create a theme with my photos in hopes that the feed with flow well together. I am also currently making my personal website for my blog. I am debating on whether on not I should start “boosting my posts” so that I reach a wider audience. However, I want my instagram growth to be authentic, that way the connections I make are more personable.
