For my FMP, I was hoping to do a physical hand in. However, my original idea was to have it properly glued together so that my publication would physically look like a magazine. Unfortunately the place I went to was unable to achieve this. I also feel that the paper used for printing has reduced the saturation of my images heavily. I want to spend more time exploring ways of printing so that the quality better. After discussing this with Daniela, we both decided it would be best for me to go forward with a digital submission. As I personally believe that this will showcases my work in the best way possible. In my personal time, I will continue printing copies and hope for the best!

Creating a Reel
On the. last page of my publication, I added a QR code which links to my instagram reel. The reel includes short clips of my photoshoots and my subjects. I feel this added a nice touch at the end. The reel itself is very short but in encapsulates my subjects well.
Adding extra content
I am very happy with my final publication, I had a test copy printed yesterday. Unfortunately the binding isnt what I was hoping for, however I feel it suits the book. I decided to add myself into the publication and discuss my childhood and the struggles I endured from growing up in so many different countries and how that impacted my identity. The images I will be using are from a photoshoot I did for Farah Shaaban at devils dyke. The images flow with my book well, and feel it creates a more personable aspect as it allows my readers to understand more about me, the creator.
wrapping all of my work together
Currently, I have finished everything except for my digital archive which I will be doing today. I am very happy with my portfolio and feel that it showcases my photography and styling skills. I will be having my final tutorials on Wednesdays where I will be able to fix any last minute flaws. For my digital archive, I will be creating it on Canva (taking inspiration from an old example portfolio provided in my studies).
Website
I will be using WIX to create my website. it will include all of my best work over the past three years, an about me page along with a contact form for potential employers. I will also be including PDF’s of my current FMP, my zine from first year, along with my Shatter Magazine project from second year. I am thinking of possibly including pdf’s of my business module work.
finalized out come
My final outcome will be a publication which focuses on photography and styling. The book explores our generations experience with Identity. It discusses peoples strengths and weaknesses along with personal life experiences. The book will contain interviews, quotes and interactive videos with the APP Artivive.
Artivive
I have successfully uploaded all of my videos and linked them to my images in my book, I have tested it out with multiple people and everyone has stated that the interactive experience is much more personable for my subjects. They also agree the reiteration of nature helps display the idea of growth.
Fmp final outcome
After finishing my final outcome today, I believe I will keep it at a book publication instead of a magazine or photo look book. However, I will ask my tutors once more what they think after looking at it in person.
QR code success and Graphic design work
I have managed to include multiple QR codes and successfully linked them to my social medias. I am also half way done in finishing my website. One other thing I have done this week, is include my graphic design work into my Portfolio.
