Our Team

The Environmental Extremes Lab (EEL) Team comprise any academic or technical support member of staff or research student (past or present) based at the University of Brighton and who has contributed to the teaching, research and/or knowledge exchange activity allied to environmental extremes. So, even those who have left the university to move on to pastures new are still members of the Environmental Extremes Lab if they want to be. This encourages research collaborations and offers a rich network of support to our newer EEL members.

At the heart of the philosophy of EEL is the important value of supporting each other, whether that be through the “PhD journey”, being a sounding board for a new research study, or anticipating media questions linked to high profile consultancy activity. We try and enjoy ourselves too in amongst the serious work of science!
