2025 International Workplace Bullying Awareness- Speaker Dr Chinwe Umegbolu presents ‘Why England and Wales Need an Anti-Bullying Law.’

I am thrilled to announce that I will present my #research  “Why England and Wales Need an Anti-Bullying Law,” highlighting the urgent call for #legislative reform to #protect #workers and ensure #accountability.
The work emphasises the critical role of #law in addressing #psychologicalhazards and creating #safer #workplaces.  The work further highlights that the use of a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in most cases can perpetuate injustice.

If you derive joy from bullying, harassing, or discriminating against your employee, then why hide behind a Non-Disclosure Agreement to perpetuate injustice? The answer is simple: do not commit the offence in the first place. Dr Chinwe Umegbolu.

It will be held on October 12–15, 2025, at the 2025 International Workplace Bullying Awareness.

Tribute to Charlie Kirk By Dr Chinwe Egbunike

In a world where culture often encourages silence rather than the open expression of our faith in our professional lives,

You stood resolutely, proclaiming your beliefs, truths, and values with unwavering conviction and courage.

While many may not have shared your views, your passion for your faith was undeniable- you never hesitated to speak Christ.

Today, I do not simply mourn the loss of a voice; I celebrate a legacy of courage that could not be silenced, even in death.

Your voice echoes your faith, and that was exactly how you wanted to be remembered: “I want to be remembered for my faith.”

You did not deserve the pain or this tragic end,

Yet I find solace in the mystery of God’s purpose: “Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”

You lived boldly, embodying faith and integrity.

Teaching us to be bold with what we believe in and very vocal whenever and wherever possible, without fear of the repercussions.

You leave behind far more than words.

You leave an enduring example of conviction, a fervour for your work, a testament to your beliefs;

And, of course, a life lived without compromise!

For you see, in the end, “it is between you and God.” It was never between you and them anyway.”

You are a hero, Charlie Kirk!

Fly high, brother. Rest in the bosom of our Lord. You will be missed.

Series 1: Digitisation of the Courts in England and Wales with Dr Chinwe & Tony Guise (Podcast)

In this series, Tony and I delved into the major shifts in justice delivery in England and Wales, specifically the digitisation of the courts, while also examining the inclusion framework and its implications.

A key theme was the impact of the reform on those who are digitally challenged. This raised a prevalent question: ‘If Smart Banking can take off, why not Smart Resolution?’

We also highlighted why funding, as well as qualitative and quantitative data, must remain central, drawing on comparative research from other jurisdictions to show how these elements shape success in court digitisation.

Stay tuned for Series 2, where we will continue to discuss the aforementioned subject matter!

Sending love, peace, light, hope, and faith,

Chi & Tony

Host and Producer of the ADR Across the Globe Podcast.
