Book recommendation on my new book, Appropriate Dispute Resolution in Comparative Perspectives: Nigeria, the UK, and the US. By an ‘ADR Living legend’ and mentor, Prof. Emilia Nneka Onyema

I am excited to share a #bookrecommendation on my new book, Appropriate Dispute Resolution in Comparative Perspectives: Nigeria, the UK, and the US. It’s written (see the screenshot below) by an ‘ADR Living legend’ and mentor, Prof. Emilia Nneka Onyema. She is a Professor of Law at SOAS University of London and an International Arbitrator.

She stated, ‘I recommend Dr Chinwe Egbunike-Umegbolu, AFHEA recently published book ‘Appropriate Dispute Resolution in Comparative Analysis: Nigeria, the UK, and the US.’ The book provides a rich exploration of the history of ADR and its diverse interpretations across the three jurisdictions. It highlights the delicate interplay between ego and apology in conflict/dispute escalation and de-escalation. The research for the book is based on in-depth face-to-face interviews and quantitative analysis from the author’s video/podcast show, Expert Views on ADR (EVA), and applies the innovative use of podcasts with focus on clinical legal education methodology.’

Gratitude, Prof!
