Digital Strategies for Knowledge Exchange and Impact: Communicating your Design History Research

With Michael Wilson, Academic Communications Manager, UoB

June 18, 2-3.30pm, online

Do you feel like you’re tweeting into the abyss?! Want to share your research in meaningful ways online? Want to limit your time online and use it effectively?

This session will help you to think critically and practically about using social media – from Instagram to blog posts – to share your research beyond the University.  We will discuss key issues in engaging audiences and potential collaborators through social media, and spend time developing a personalised and manageable strategy that supports your research agenda. All are welcome, but the session will specifically consider how researchers might engage and connect with CDH’s key non-HEI partners – museums and archives, designers and makers, and the creative industries.

All welcome: To sign up, please email CDH co-director Dr Claire Wintle, c.wintle@brighton.ac.uk
