Redressing History:
Pursuing a Global Perspective on Dress and Textile History

Redressing History: A Global Perspective on Dress and Textile History is a collaborative podcast series created by researchers and staff at the University of Brighton. Our  aim is to promote dialogue between researchers and staff at the university, and figures whose research or practice engages with and highlights BIPOC dress and textile histories.

Each episode is accompanied by a related ‘Visual Essay’ which engages with the examples, sources and ideas discussed in the podcast. Both the podcasts and the essays are hosted here on the Centre for Design History Blog and also on Spotify and Youtube.
