We’re sponsoring the Start-up of the Year award at the Sussex Business Awards 2022

We’re proud to be sponsoring the Start-up of the Year award at this year’s Sussex Business Awards.

The award recognises the entrepreneurial aptitude, vision, ambition, drive and commercial acumen needed to build a successful start-up business.

Sponsoring this award ties in with the great work we’re doing with the local business community, through initiatives such as the Bright Young Things student-led marketing, communications and PR agency, and the pro bono legal clinic. We’re also working closely with local businesses across the region by delivering Help to Grow: Management, a 90% government-funded course that helps small and medium-sized enterprises grow.

Do you own a business, or know someone who does? The Sussex Business Awards is the largest event of its kind and is celebrating its thirty-third year running. The awards offer a unique opportunity to showcase the best innovators, leaders and entrepreneurs in the region.

Businesses can enter up to three categories and it costs just £25 per entry. The closing date for nominations is 30 September – more details and info on how to enter can be found on the Platinum Media Group’s website.

Judging will take place in October and the finalists will be announced on 26 October, with the awards ceremony taking place on 1 December at The Grand on Brighton’s seafront, opposite the iconic West Pier. It’s set to be a night to remember!
