It’s a Wrap collaborative performance

The performance introduces the importance of daring to be vulnerable together. Of an unpredictable microtopia filled with harmony and antagonism where peoplewith and without learning disabilities are literally being bound together. It also visually references the artwork of Judith Scott, arguably the most famous artist with Downs Syndrome and is a play on words for the launch of the collaboratively developed Inclusive Arts Practice and Research book

It’s a Wrap collaborative performance was created and performed by Alice Fox (director choreographic framework), Jonathan Taylor (live sound) Jo Offer and the learning disabled Rocket Artists, Louella Forrest, Kelvin Burke, Tina Jenner and Joseph Gregory.

Throughout the collaborative, inclusive creation of the performance Fox employed her research on practices for working inclusively with vulnerable people with learning disabilities through performance.
