UCU members came together today to commemorate the many workers across the world who have died from lack of safety at work. In particular, we remembered those working on the frontline of the Covid 19 crisis. We heard from a colleague currently working in an ICU 

and read out the 140 names collected to date of Health and Care workers who have fallen victim to the virus whilst remembering the many other workers who have paid with their lives but remain un-named.
