Reusable cup winning design now on sale
We are pleased to announce that our competition-winning reusable cup design by a recent art graduate is now available to buy.
Last year we launched a competition to all students to design artwork for the Huskup-produced cups sold in university cafes. Recent graduate of BA Textiles with Business Studies, Maisie Rennie-Carter impressed the judges with her Indonesian jungle-themed design.
Now available alongside other Huskup designs, these ‘cups for life’ retail at £6.95 and include a first free hot drink. As well as reducing the number of single-use cups, each purchase also provides a 30p discount when buying hot drinks from all university cafes.

Huskup, the company producing these reusable cups use a natural by-product of the rice harvest i.e. the rice husk instead of plastic. Therefore, the cups are biodegradable, melamine and bisphenol-A free. Plus, they’re dishwasher and microwave safe, perfect for drinks like coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and even soup.
